KYW 2017 – Application Process
We are pleased to announce that the Knockadoon Youth Week (“the KYW”) will be returning this June and July for our 7th annual summer camp. The cost of this year’s camp will be €170 (£145 approx) for a week which includes everything from transport, accommodation, all meals and our day trip. The dates for this year’s camp are as follows;
- Week 1: 17th June – 24th June (Dundalk & Tallaght)
- Week 2: 24th June – 1st July (Newry, Kildare, Cork)
- Week 3: 1st July – 8th July (Dundalk & Tallaght)
Change in application/payment process
We also want to bring to your attention a change in our registration and payment process. Effective today the KYW will be moving the entire application process online. This means that we will no longer be accepting paper applications and will require each camper to sign up via an online form. This also means that we will require full payment in order to complete your booking for this year’s camp. We also hope to move the majority of our communication to email so please provide us with a valid email that is used regularly when signing up so we can send you information regarding camp activities and medical forms.
How to sign up online
Sign up will be accessible from Wednesday 1st March for past campers and Thursday 2nd March for new campers. A link will be made available on our website & Facebook page on the 1st March which will re-direct you to the online application form. In order to access the application form on the 1st March you will need to enter a password, which is being shared with last year’s campers only.
**Letters are being sent out next week to all campers who attended KYW16 with information regarding the password to access the application form on March 1st**
We recognise that this change may provide inconvenience for some of you, so please reach out to us via email (seniorleaderkyw@gmail.com) or message us through our Facebook page if you have any questions/concerns about this new process. We believe this change will enable us to cut down on the countless hours spent on administration work and allow us to focus our energy on what really matters to us as KYW leaders, ‘improving the KYW for the kids’.
Kind regards,
Niall Cunningham
